Summary: Help eradicate noxious weeds
Description: This event is perfect for families, budding naturalists and anyone concerned about the impacts of noxious weeds, so tie up your boots, put on your gloves, and get ready to eradicate some weeds! Non-native plants (aka: weeds) are rapidly becoming a BIG problem in Colorado, due to their negative impact on wildlife diversity, watershed health, agriculture and even your backyard. So, please join us at the CONEJOS PEAK RANGER DISTRICT Friday morning, July 10th for a brief educational orientation before we head out to a help make Colorado beautiful in scenic PLATORO, CO.
Please remember to bring:
Sturdy shoes (no open toe shoes allowed), gloves, water & lunch, sunscreen, appropriate summer clothes for the Valley, rain jacket, and a good attitude.
