Summary: Assist staff archaeologists with management of the area's rich cultural resources
Description: The focus of this program is to assist the Grand Junction BLM archaeologists with cultural program work, in the office; or to assist in site recording, survey and site monitoring. Additionally, volunteers may be provided with interpretive opportunites to help educate members of the public.
Training is required for this opportunity. New site stewards begin with a classroom training in fall/winter and field trainings in the spring/summer.
