Summary: Help maintain the popular Mica Mine Trail
Description: THE WORK - We will be starting at the Bangs Canyon Trailhead (we'll be close to a real restroom all day) near the parking lot and working our way toward the Mica Mine. We have some major erosion issues to take care of at the beginning of the trail. This work will take most of the day. There will be opportunities to cut brush, grade trail, move lots of dirt, AND of course move rocks. We will be stabilizing the trail to protect it from further erosion, as well as restoring the tread in several places.
