Summary: One-day volunteer project to maintain popular recreational trailhead area
Description: Many people, and their dogs, enjoy the Tabeguache/Lunch Loop trail system. Join with other Tabeguache Trail users for a clean-up of dog poop and other trash along the trails in this popular area. This is a cooperative effort between the BLM, City of Grand Junction, Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA) and REI. Trash bags will be provided. Bring work gloves and perhaps a small shovel or rake to facilitate our poop patrol. REI will have refreshments and prize giveaways for volunteers.
