Summary:
Description: Crew members will be doing archaeological survey and documenting archaeological sites related to past lifeways of people in the area. Types of archaeological sites we are likely to encounter would be related to prehistoric Native American activities such as camping and hunting, as well as historic Euro-American activities such as livestock raising or homesteading. Crew members will experience hands on learning through an understanding of artifacts left behind by peoples of the past. This will
give them the chance to learn about local history as well as the importance of preserving archaeology for future generations.
