Summary:
Description: Recreation Custodian - The primary duty of the Recreation Custodian is to provide visitor assistance duties for the visitors. The volunteer will hand out information to the public, put up travel management signs, clean the restrooms and fire rings at multiple campgrounds and trail heads in the Creede area. The volunteer will be asked to work approximately 2 times each week and will be given the use of a government vehicle (after official training). In exchange service, the Divide Ranger District will provide a complimentary RV trailer pad, with full hook-ups, for the duration of the summer. We will also provide limited reimbursement for propane. The volunteer will be required to serve from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
Ideal for a retired couple.
