Description: Celebrate Fathers' Day with VOC at William Frederick Hayden Green Mountain Park. We will complete the Summit Loop trail, started by VOC two years ago. At one of the highest locations in the park, Summit Loop offers a spectacular 360 degree view of the entire Front Range, Red Rocks, the Flat Irons, and three 14,000 foot peaks. This trail is a popular destination in a popular park; an estimated quarter million visitors each year use Green Mountain Park to hike, mountain bike, horseback ride, and paraglide. This project will involve trail construction with some trail closures and possible fencing (split rail) for the closures. Your help completing this trail will allow thousands more visitors to enjoy all that the park offers. There is no fee for this project. An end of the day meal will be provided.
