Description of Work Completed:
Despite the snow, 34 students from 5th to 8th grade and 7 adults participated in a Stewardship with a Team (SWAT) project at Governor’s Mansion with the Challenge School on October 25. Volunteers helped put the vegetable gardens to rest for the season and removed plants from 5 beds, totaling 400 sq feet. A big thanks to our project partner, Grow Local, and all the volunteers that braved the weather that day!
