Summary: Help get the Trujillo Meadows Campground ready for the Public
Description:
Heavily effected by the Spruce Beetle the Trujillo Meadows Campground has been closed for two seasons while an extensive thinning project and timber sale took place in the area. The result was a campground full of branches, sticks, tree remnants and other slash. The Adams State Lacrosse Team volunteered to help with the effort of prepping the campground to reopen. Members of the team consolidated small piles and scattered debris, redefined trails and paths between sites and to restrooms, and transported, replaced, and secured picnic tables for 50 camp sites.
