Description: The Southwest Conservation Corp's Mineral and Hinsdale County Community Youth Crew is excited to work side by side with you on the CDNST. We will be meeting at the Spring Creek Pass day use area just off of State Highway 149, approxamately 30 miles Northwest of Creede, Colorado. After hiking about a mile or so in on the trail our work will provide basic matainance needs for this popular section of the trail. No prior trail experience neccesary just an eagerness to learn and a desire to have fun and enjoy being outside while providing a valuable service on our public lands! Latitude/Longitude: 37.940831, -107.159218 Additional Information: Please be prepared with long pants, sturdy boots or hiking shoes, sunglasses or safety glasses, rain gear, lunch and snacks, and enough water for the day, approx 3 liters. Leather gloves and hardhats will be availible but you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you prefer.
