Description of Work Completed:
Around 25 volunteers arrived Saturday morning, August 4 at the Denver Green School for a Denver Crop Mob event in partnership with Sprout City Farm and Slow Food Denver. Volunteers spent the morning doing a variety of garden/farm maintenance including weeding, trench building, harvesting vegetables, composting, placing stakes/string to support the growth of new vegetables, and planting peas. Einstein Brother Bagels, Starbucks, SmartWool, and Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill contributed to the success of the project by providing food and prizes to our volunteers!
