Help construct a new trail in beautiful St. Vrain State Park. Description: STEWARDSHIP SITE St. Vrain State Park, located north of the Denver Metropolitan Area, is one of Colorado's forty-two State Parks. While it boasts spectacular views of the Front Range and excellent fishing, it is most famous for its excellent birding as it is home to both herons and egrets-one of only a few Colorado sites where these elegant birds can be found. VOLUNTEER PROJECT - WHAT & WHY Volunteers will be building a new trail to expand access for fishing, hiking, and birding. Volunteers will work in crews to help transport and spread crusher fine to complete the new trail around Red Tail Pond.
