Description of Work Completed: 33 high school students from the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union Camp and their 8 camp counselors joined VOC at the Urban Farm in Stapleton on Tuesday, June 11th for a morning of urban agriculture education and stewardship of agricultural/farming resources. A few students assembled bee boxes for the farm's new honey bee farm, a few students fed all the animals breakfast, and others efficiently mucked five horse stalls in just under 2 hours. The students accomplished over 200 hours of service over the course of the morning, providing much needed support of the Urban Farm to help them continue to provide resources to underserved populations and communities in need.
