Description:
Willow lake and Willow Lake Trail are both very popular attractions on the Saguache Ranger District of the RGNF, particularly because they access the 14ers Kit Carson and Challenger. We dismanteled and rehabbed 14 campsites that were in violation or regulations and too close to the lake. Rebuilt 4 switchbacks and cleaned up rock slides in between them, installed 9 check steps to controll erosion.
