All the participants learned the importance of their planting work to sustain a native and diverse ecosystem, and some of the group had a chance to learn to identify and remove invasive Russian Olive.

19 youth and 10 adult volunteers from Abiding hope Lutheran Church planted native shrubs, removed Russian Olive and picked up trash at the Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve in Greenwood Village, CO. This will maintain help the City of Greenwood village to maintain the space as a native ecosystem.
