Description of Work Completed: On November 8, 23 students and 4 mentors from VOC's Cairn Youth Program joined up with 16 students and 3 mentors from the Boulder County Left Hand Outdoor Challenge (LHOC) to build 650 feet of trail at Walker Ranch! In many ways, LHOC is a sister program to Cairn, engaging Boulder County High School students in monthly outdoor skill and education challenges. This was a great opportunity for the two groups to interact with like-minded peers, learn about how another program is engaging teens in the outdoors, and get some quality trail building done on a beautiful fall day!
