Description: STEWARDSHIP SITE The Poudre Learning Center is a resource for Northern Colorado's outdoor learning experience. With over 22 miles of trails along the Poudre River and acres of habitat, the Poudre Learning Center is a vital part of Northeastern Colorado's preservation efforts. VOLUNTEER PROJECT - WHAT & WHY The September 2013 and recent 2014 spring floods severely impacted the Poudre Learning Center and left many areas in need of restoration. Volunteers will remove sandbags, remove newly established noxious weeds introduced by both floods and restore the Learning Center's sensory garden.
