Project Summary: On Wednesday, July 22nd, 4 adult leaders and 22 teens came out to Mount Falcon Park in Jefferson County to pull mullein, scotch thistle and musk thistle. The teens have been working together all summer, and were very hard workers. They were able to cover 10 acres of land, on both the east and west sides of the park.
Successes and Challenges: In one part of the park there is a lot of poison hemlock, which just caused stress for myself and the TEENS, Inc. staff. We avoided it well, and had the JeffCo employees point it out.
