Project Summary: On May 20th, 100 8th graders from Prospect Ridge Academy came out to St. Vrain State Park to help with invasive species removal. The students helped to remove curly dock, musk and scotch thistle, flaxweed and sweet clover. The kids covered 4 acres of weeds.
Successes and Challenges: St. Vrain just has no shade. Challenging with kids, but it was cool enough that they were OK.
