Project Summary: In a series of 3 weed project with Stanley British Primary School, the 5th graders kicked things off on Wed., Sept. 21st. They arrived at the park and immediately had lunch and played a few name games. Then Allison did a short talk, and we got to work! They worked for about 1.5 hours, and then ended with a compliment circle
Successes and Challenges: The mullein caused a lot of allergies to kick up, and some kids were uncomfortable.
Lessons Learned:
Special Notes:
Stewardship Education: Provided by VOC staff and Park Rangers that talked more specifically about CCSP and the wildlife that lives there.
Key Concerns or Comments from Staff or Volunteers: This time of year is bad for allergies!
