They followed the same format as the other two grade levels. We were a little more heavy on the stewardship talk beforehand, since the 3rd graders would not have as much stamina to work as long. Successes and Challenges: A lot of the kids complained about being itchy from the grass/mullein. They also were very aware of bees, since their 4th grade classmates had been stung.
