Due to the snow in February, the group was unable to reach the site of the Final Project in April, this trip all the students were able to make it out to see where they would be building the new trail. Dan then stayed with the crew leaders to do the important job of site-specific preparation. The original schedule had the other Cairn students in the marketing and educational groups participating in a fun survival skills day with a survival teacher. However, after a last minute cancelation by that teacher, the students instead did another interpretive hike. This day was also intentionally shortened to accommodate the number of Cairn Participants who wished to exercise their civic voice by attending the scheduled March for our Lives at the Capitol. Successes and Challenges: Challenges Taylor was gone. Andrew Naugle <andrew.b.naugle@gmail.com> the gentleman who was supposed to teach a survival workshop that had been booked since August, bailed out 3 days prior with almost no explanation. With such little time Dan did not feel he could adapt his lesson to include the rest of the students in his CL training. Scheduling challenges with the March for our Lives at the Capitol.
