Project Summary: A small, but mighty, and might wonderful crew of volunteers came out to focus on tornado debris pick up.
Successes and Challenges: We had three adults bring their kids, which was a seconday/tertiary goal of this project. The avenues I thought would work for family recruitment (B&GC, the Community Center, etc) didn't work at all, but advertising the project as family friendly did!
Everyone on site was very interested in getting out to Shurview and in being involved as it develops! They will be great resources to loop into community engagement efforts Greeley is doing around the new property.
